In 2025, The Double Sock Foundation continued its mission of helping Meadville youth participate in ice sports by providing financial assistance to local hockey players and figure skaters. The scholarship helps remove cost barriers so boys and girls can skate, learn, and compete at the Meadville Area Recreation Complex.
This season we assisted:
- 2 figure skaters with skating support
- 10 participants in the Little Penguins nonprofit program
- 2 players with CCYHA hockey
- 2 players with equipment assistance
Thanks to the generosity of donors and the support of our community, we made it possible for these young athletes to enjoy the sport they love and build confidence through play.
